The Hand-Painted Lamp by Maggie Robertson

The stoneware lamp is hand-built and hand-painted by Maggie Robertson in her Saint Louis studio. The hand-painted imagery is drawn from her Country Gentleman series. Scenes of the English countryside in classic blue and white.

Due to the hand formed and painted nature of this item, no two lamp bases are exactly alike. Variations in form and scale may vary from piece to piece and are celebrated marks of the maker. The stoneware form is mounted on a marble base.

The lampshades chosen for this pair are by Penny Morrison. Handcrafted in England, this Penny Morrison lampshade pairs a unique blue on white tribal pattern with a delicate gold trim at both top and bottom. The pleated shade has an empire silhouette and is constructed from hand block printed Indian silk lined with a cream colored cotton. 

They shades are included in the price.
