Colville works with artisans in southeastern Turkey to create these cooler than cool rugs. Each rug is handwoven from 100% mohair on ancient wooden looms. The hand-spun process follows an age old practice rarely seen in the modern age. The special fuzzy texture is created by feathering the surface of the fabric with delicate steel combs, each step requiring patience and a meticulous attention to detail.
