Ask any lover of mid-century furniture to name the top 5 iconic chairs of mcm design and we guarantee the Egg chair would be on that list.  The FORSYTH design team was over the moon when we collected this outstanding pair of original Arne Jacobsen Egg chairs.  Jacobsen was a true visionary as an architect and designer, and his Egg chair is the epitome of Danish mid-century design.  Jacobsen originally designed the Egg chair in 1958 for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark.  Set on a steel rotating base, the Egg Chair allows sitters to swivel toward a conversation or away from others for more privacy.  

Expertly restored and reupholstered in our luxurious signature leather and zebra hide, these chairs will find a home in one of the most beautiful rooms on Earth.
