Circa 1960s, these George Mulhauser Sultana chairs are a great example of why we do what we do. Collecting interesting, vintage pieces and elevating their status to something even more special by restoring and reupholstering, in this case, zebra. We love the way the zebra complements the curves of the chair - the spiraling arms, the bowed legs. Such beauty. The bent plywood is in fine vintage condition.
