Jacques Adnet was an art deco designer known for his creations in leather. These side chairs were acquired from Paris and, in their original leather, are a rare and beautiful example of Adnet's work.

Good condition. The metal surfaces present with surface scratches, abrasions, soiling and minor losses to the paint throughout consistent with age and gentle use. The original leather with scratches, abrasions, discolorations, marks, tearing and warping. Three of the leather backrests appear to have been sensitively replaced at some point in their history. The brass surfaces with tarnish and oxidation consistent with age and use.
