Hans Wegner designed the CH71 lounge chair and CH72 sofa in 1952, drawing on expertise in cabinetmaking and upholstery. The result is a finely crafted, fluid design that appears as striking today as it did over half a century ago - from the Carl Hansen & Son website.
We love these pieces for their compact, yet refined aesthetic. The smooth finish, the tapered legs, the simple lines. We chose a luxurious Pierre Frey mohair in a deep honey color to complement the vintage patinaed wood. See our listing for the matching CH72 sofa. Click Here. Together, they make a beautiful set.
