A fine, antique English 4-section open pine bench. Each back crest shows foliate carved decoration, above the chinoiserie embossed red leather on the back and seat panels, with outward scrolling arm rests and tapering legs. This design was based on 18th century images of the same desk. It is so unique for its slight curve.
