John O'Hara, artistic director of Forsyth, is the creator behind the Zebra, Framed Series. "A zebra hide is a masterpiece of design, a true work of art", explains O'Hara. The first framed hide is behind O'Hara's desk in his stylish Forsyth office in Saint Louis. The series took root when clients commissioned the artwork. Today the Zebra, Framed Series pieces are in high demand with collectors. Given that everything from hide, frame, sterling silver, leather strapping are one of a kind, a commissioned work can take up to five weeks, but the wait is more than worth the while. The work is extraordinary.
