Sarah Flint, Founder, CEO and Creative Director of her eponymous shoe brand, joined Laura Katherine Sawyier for SALON x LKS Vol. 4 at the Forsyth studio on November 8-9, 2019. The Sarah Flint team touched down for their first-ever trip to Saint Louis to introduce the luxury women’s footwear collection. Sarah Flint launched in 2013 at 25 years old with the intent to redefine luxury shoes that look beautiful and are equally comfortable. The Perfect Pump is one of her most notable styles - it lives up to its namesake expectations.

The conversation was another open and informative SALON x LKS chat about being a female founder, pivoting from a wholesale model to direct-to-consumer, and navigating work and life. Sarah candidly shared what it was like taking her business plan and designs to Italian manufacturing factories when she was in her early twenties to pulling out from wholesale accounts and rewriting her business plan to sell DTC. She touched on her experience raising capital and pitching to potential investors in the fashion industry.
